Description

Springfield Clinic is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians, optometrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, and licensed practical nurses with direct and indirect patient care, clinical procedures, documentation, scheduling, referrals, supplies, and customer service in an office-based clinic setting. The role requires completion of an accredited medical assisting program, an active recognized medical assistant credential, and CPR certification within 30 days of hire.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; graduation from an accredited medical assisting program required by the certifying body.
Preferred Qualifications: Active registration or certification as a Medical Assistant through an approved credentialing organization such as AMT, AAMA, NCCT, NHA, AAH, or NAHP.
Maintain RMA, CMA, or NCMA credentials.
Obtain CPR certification under American Heart Association guidelines within 30 days of hire.
Patient and family education skills.
Excellent customer service and adherence to professional ethics.
