Description
The Certified Medical Assistant supports physicians, optometrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, and licensed practical nurses with direct and indirect patient care, clinical procedures, medical records, scheduling, supplies, referrals, patient education, medication administration, and office operations. The role requires completion of an accredited medical assisting program, active registered or certified medical assistant credentials from an approved certifying body, and CPR certification within 30 days of hire. The position is office-based and reports to the Operations Manager at Springfield Clinic.
