Description
The Butte County Department of Behavioral Health is hiring a Certified Nurse Practitioner to provide independent medical care and counseling to adults with complex co-occurring conditions in an outpatient mental health setting. The role includes assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, medication management, referrals, patient education, documentation, and coordination with healthcare partners. The position requires an RN license, a California Nurse Practitioner certificate, a Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number, and three years of professional Registered Nurse experience; a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification is highly desired. The position may be filled on a regular, full-time, part-time, or temporary basis.
