The Arc Eastern Connecticut is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant in Waterford, Connecticut, to provide nursing care and patient-care tasks in a post-acute care setting. The role includes vital-sign monitoring, activities of daily living, mobility assistance, hygiene, meal support, medication-related in-services, resident observation, reporting to nursing staff, and assistance with medical procedures. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with 24-hour coverage indicated. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, a valid Connecticut driver's license, a current Connecticut CNA license, basic computer and English skills, knowledge of Department of Developmental Services regulations, and the ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
