Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides routine direct and indirect patient care in a hospital nursing department under the supervision of an RN or LPN/LVN. The role involves taking vital signs, assisting with treatments and procedures, maintaining patient rooms and equipment, stocking supplies, supporting basic patient needs such as bathing and oral care, and reporting changes in patient condition. The position is full-time, part-time, or per diem, requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA certification or nursing assistant experience or active nursing student status, BLS on hire, and completion of basic assessment classes within 90 days.
