Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct care to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse, or Director of Nursing. Responsibilities include taking and recording vital signs, measuring height, weight, and fluid intake/output, assisting with activities of daily living, transferring and positioning residents, providing skin care, supporting rehabilitation and restorative nursing services, and offering emotional and social support. The role requires a high school diploma or general education degree, one to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with CNA licensure where required.
