Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides personal nursing care to patients under the direction of a licensed registered nurse, including assistance with activities of daily living, nutrition, hydration, elimination, bathing, dressing, feeding, positioning, and restorative care. The role also involves taking vital signs, reporting patient status and concerns, performing clerical duties, and providing assessment data within the CNA scope of practice. Basic Life Support certification and CNA certification are required, while high school education or a GED is preferred.
