The Arc Eastern Connecticut is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Norwich, Connecticut, to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role provides personal care, recreation, daily living, social, health, rights, community integration, behavior management, medication administration, documentation, transportation, meal preparation, and life-skills mentoring. It requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, basic computer aptitude, English communication skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision; prior experience with developmental and physical disabilities is preferred. The schedule is Saturday–Sunday from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Monday–Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a starting hourly rate of $21.20 and benefits including health, dental, and life insurance.
