Description
A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assesses residents' occupational therapy needs, delivers services according to treatment schedules, evaluates and documents progress, communicates progress to management and families, repeats evaluations according to professional guidelines, and maintains professional skills through literature review and seminars. The role requires graduation from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program, NBCOT examination completion or eligibility, and a state license or eligibility to obtain one.
