Description
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will work full-time in a South Hampton, Alabama skilled-nursing facility, assisting a Registered Occupational Therapist with rehabilitation therapy for patients of all ages. Responsibilities include planning and delivering delegated therapy, evaluating patient response, preparing treatment areas, transporting patients, maintaining records, monitoring supplies, and preparing and fitting splints. The role requires occupational therapy curriculum completion, current professional certification, medical terminology knowledge, and experience with patients with physical, mental, or developmental disabilities; previous skilled-nursing experience and two additional years of experience are desired.
