Description
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will provide rehabilitation therapy under the direction of a Registered Occupational Therapist at Traylor Retirement Community in Roanoke, Alabama. Duties include assisting with therapy planning, evaluating patient response, preparing treatment areas, maintaining records, transporting patients, monitoring supplies, and preparing and fitting splints. The role requires occupational therapy curriculum completion and current professional certification, with previous skilled-nursing-facility experience and two years of experience desired. The employer will cover Alabama licensure costs, and COVID vaccination is preferred with an exemption possible.
