Description
KARE is hiring an Occupational Therapist Assistant to support residents in senior living communities by treating patients as directed by an occupational therapist, documenting treatments and progress, assisting with treatment-area maintenance, communicating with supervisors and health-team members, recording charges, instructing families or nursing staff, and reporting changes in residents' condition or behavior. The role requires graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program, current Texas licensure, English fluency, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and either two years of clinical experience or one year of clinical experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or assisted living/memory care. CPR certification is optional, and the role may require memory-care experience if assigned to memory-care areas.
