Description
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) works under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to administer occupational therapy modalities and physical agents. This includes assisting patients in restoring functionality, participating in operational aspects of the department, maintaining performance improvement activities, and adhering to infection control and safety protocols. The COTA treats residents with kindness, dignity, and respect, communicates effectively, makes independent decisions, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams.
