Sperry Rail is hiring a Certified Trainee/Apprentice to become a Certified Professional Operator in the Rail Flaw Detection (RFD) non-destructive testing industry. The role involves paid hands-on training at Sperry’s Connecticut-based school, extensive field experience, ultrasonic testing certification, equipment setup and troubleshooting, railroad safety procedures, and extended travel throughout Canada in the Roberval, Val d’Or, and La Tuque areas. The position offers a progression from trainee to certified operator and potential crew leadership, with preferred experience in NDT, railroads, or automotive/technical systems.
