Description
The Certified Peer/Recovery Specialist supports individuals with behavioral health, substance use, and developmental disability needs through peer mentoring, recovery planning, wellness and vocational support, group facilitation, treatment-team collaboration, and documentation. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CPS or RPS training and certification, a valid non-commercial driver's license, Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including crisis de-escalation and restraint techniques.
