Community Medical Services is hiring a Substance Abuse Peer Support Specialist to support patients recovering from opioid and other illicit substance use disorders. The role uses personal recovery experience to provide guidance, coaching, assessments, harm reduction, and group support, while maintaining confidentiality and communicating with community providers. The position follows a Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. schedule, may require occasional weekend and holiday shifts, and includes travel to CMS clinic locations and community events.
