La Clinica de Familia is hiring a Peer Worker to provide peer support to members with behavioral health issues, psychiatric disorders, substance dependence, and physical illnesses. The role serves as a consumer advocate, provides information and support, and assists consumers in their recovery process. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, New Mexico Certified Peer Specialist certification, a clean driving record, and completion of background checks, TB screening, and drug testing.
