Description
The Certified Pharmacy Technician (PRN) supports pharmacists by accurately preparing and dispensing medications, verifying prescription and patient information, managing inventory, maintaining records, providing customer service, and communicating with healthcare providers. The role is on an as-needed basis and requires current pharmacy technician certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of pharmacy laws and safety standards, dosage calculation ability, and strong attention to detail and organization. Prior pharmacy experience, pharmacy management software, electronic health records, medical terminology, pharmacology, communication skills, and flexibility are preferred.
