Description
The Pharmacy Technician assists a pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing prescriptions, processing claims, maintaining pharmacy records, handling cash and customer service, managing inventory, supporting clinical services, and maintaining the pharmacy department. The role requires English fluency, flexible evening and weekend availability, and may require PTCB certification or certification as a condition of promotion to senior technician. Preferred qualifications include retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, math and computer skills, inventory knowledge, and PTCB certification. The position pays $18–$21.50 per hour and remains open until filled.
