The Certified Phlebotomy Technician I performs blood specimen collection and preparation for adult, pediatric, and infant patients, including venipuncture, labeling, infection-control procedures, quality checks, and pre-analytic handling. The role also includes registration, insurance verification, patient eligibility checks, laboratory information system work, and front-office reception and inventory duties. Compensation is $24.00 to $31.26 per hour, and the position requires a California Class C driver's license, auto insurance, reliable transportation, and CPT certification within two months of hire.
