Description
The Certified Sterile Processing Technician will inspect, clean, assemble, test, and sterilize patient care equipment, surgical instruments, and supplies in a hospital setting. The role includes decontamination, inventory management, sterilization monitoring, quality control, infection control, documentation, and participation in staff orientation and continuing education. It is a full-time position scheduled for 40 weekly hours with rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays, and requires CRCST, HSPA, or CBSPD certification plus a high school diploma or GED.
