Description
Petco is hiring a Veterinarian Technician to provide veterinary care and customer support in a Vetco Total Care full-service hospital. The role includes greeting clients, obtaining vital signs and histories, assisting with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia, restraining patients, processing laboratory samples, administering medications and intravenous therapies, preparing and monitoring anesthetized patients, scheduling appointments, communicating results, maintaining records and inventory, and supporting hospital operations. The position requires completed college or college-equivalent education, at least one year of veterinary technician or veterinary practice experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a physically demanding hospital environment. The stated pay range is $18.75 to $30.25 per hour.
