Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine is hiring a Chairperson of the Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences in East Lansing. Reporting to the Dean, the Chair will lead the department’s academic, administrative, and strategic work across clinical service, research, teaching, and outreach; support faculty recruitment, mentoring, retention, and promotion; develop a strategic vision; strengthen interdisciplinary and One Health collaboration; and represent the department and College with external stakeholders. The role requires a DVM or equivalent, at least 50% administrative appointment, and experience leading groups or programs, managing budgets and personnel, and mentoring colleagues.
