Description
The Chaplain Associate provides spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members in a clinical environment. The role assesses spiritual needs, offers chaplaincy services, consults with clergy, documents visits in the electronic medical record, supports interdisciplinary teams, and assists with training. It is a rotation-based, per-diem position with hours as needed, requires a high school diploma or GED, one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education, and ordination, commissioning, or ecclesiastical endorsement, and is non-benefits eligible.
