Description
The Chaplain will report to the deputy warden of programs and lead religious programs at the East Mississippi Correctional Facility in Meridian, Mississippi. Responsibilities include conducting religious services and education, counseling offenders, providing pastoral care, coordinating volunteers, training chaplaincy volunteers, and maintaining offender and property accountability. The role requires current ecclesiastical endorsement or ordination, clinical pastoral education, two years of religious or related experience, and a valid Mississippi driver’s license. The position pays $15.00 per hour and includes medical, vision, prescription drug, dental, retirement, leave, and other benefits.
