Description
The Chaplain serves as a member of an interdisciplinary team, providing pastoral care and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, staff, and volunteers. The role requires ordination or commissioning for pastoral ministry, good standing with the candidate’s faith body, a bachelor’s degree, a Master’s of Divinity or equivalent graduate degree, and clinical pastoral education or equivalent experience. Five years of pastoral experience is preferred, including two years in a clinical setting, along with knowledge of spiritual dynamics related to illness, loss, and death.
