The Cheese Department Production Associate works with associates in the cheese department to produce specialty cheese items such as mozzarella, pimento, and other cheese spreads, and to grate and cut fresh parmesan for packaging. The role also provides customer service, maintains product quality, freshness, labeling, rotation, sanitation, and department cleanliness, and performs opening and closing duties. No supervisory responsibilities are listed, and the position requires reliable attendance, a valid Oregon Food Handler card, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
