Beecher's Handmade Cheese is hiring a Licensed Cheesemaker to lead production at its new Shullsburg, Wisconsin facility. The role involves executing open-vat and cheddar-style cheesemaking, monitoring pH, temperature, timing, and process performance, maintaining production records, supporting SOP development, optimizing yield, grading products, and mentoring team members. Applicants must hold a Wisconsin Cheesemaker license, have artisan or specialty cheesemaking experience, and demonstrate strong process-monitoring, documentation, communication, and continuous-improvement skills. The position offers a starting rate of $28.00 per hour, a four-day work week with 10-hour shifts, and medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and holiday pay.
