The role plans, organizes, coordinates, and supervises food preparation, meal delivery, equipment, inventory, purchasing, menu development, staff training, safety, sanitation, and special events, while collaborating with dietitians and other facility disciplines. Applicants need dietary management certification or an associate degree and/or culinary arts certification, along with effective communication skills. The salary is $50,000 to $71,500 depending on experience and certification.
