Simon Roofing is hiring a part-time Chemical Engineering Intern to support application testing of architectural coatings, analyze incoming roof samples, conduct new-product research and development testing, prepare samples, perform statistical analysis, maintain laboratory equipment, and record data using manufacturing protocols. The role requires at least one semester of prior laboratory experience, strong computer and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform routine laboratory tasks; a BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is preferred. The internship pays $15.00 per hour.
