Description
The role produces and packages finished silica gel products according to customer specifications, operating and adjusting manufacturing processes, performing in-process and finished-product laboratory testing, documenting results and environmental requirements, and completing packaging, forklift, and warehouse tasks. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic mathematics, Microsoft Office proficiency, laboratory testing and safety experience, and two years of chemical manufacturing or warehousing experience. The position works in a 24/7/365 manufacturing plant on 12-hour rotating shifts, overtime, and in a non-temperature-controlled environment, with the ability to lift 50 pounds.
