GFL Ottawa is hiring a Chemical Technician to support its Stevenage liquid waste processing facility. The role involves preparing hazardous and non-hazardous waste shipments, receiving bulk and containerized client waste, sampling waste for laboratory analysis, ensuring safe and timely processing, completing paperwork and hazard assessments, and supporting household hazardous waste collection events. The position requires a degree or diploma in chemistry, chemical technology, environmental technology, or an equivalent field, weekend shift availability, and the ability to work outdoors in all four seasons.
