Description
The Plant Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the liquid sodium silicate and potassium silicate dissolving plants, including railcar offloading, truck loading, uninterrupted glass dissolving production, equipment inspections and minor repairs, plant start-up and shut-down, quality checks, audits, safety and environmental compliance, and emergency response. The role requires a 5th-class Power Engineer’s (boiler operator’s) ticket, at least two years of manufacturing experience, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to work safely as part of a team.
