Description
Norwest Engineering is hiring a Piping Design Engineer to review, develop, and check process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, orthographics, isometrics, bills of materials, and related lists for heavy industrial projects. The role includes hydraulic and heat-loss calculations, equipment and instrumentation specification, vendor evaluation, capital project cost and schedule support, and coordination with other engineering disciplines. The position requires 2–8 years of industrial project experience, a BSME or BSChemE degree, P&ID experience, and willingness to travel 10–25% throughout the Western United States and nationally. The salary range is $85,000 to $110,000, with health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits.
