Description
Chromalloy is hiring a Chemical Process Operator (Heat Treat) to operate and monitor vacuum and partial-pressure heat-treatment furnaces for aerospace components. The role includes loading and unloading furnaces, running heat-treat programs, monitoring cycles, documenting process data, performing inspections and preventive maintenance, operating forklifts, and maintaining production and downtime records. The position is on the fifth shift from Friday at 5:00 p.m. to Sunday at 5:00 a.m., with a $3.50 shift differential, and requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience, English communication ability, basic math and mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
