The role performs chemical and physical laboratory analyses, including sample treatment, reagent and standard preparation, equipment and chemical reagent handling, verification calculations, data recording, and compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. It requires a Chemical Engineering or Chemistry degree, at least three years of general experience and two years in mineral laboratories, familiarity with good laboratory practices and quality standards, mineral analysis experience, and Atomic Absorption experience.
