Description
The Environmental Laboratory Technician performs microbiological and chemical analysis of environmental water samples, including sample collection, laboratory testing, data interpretation, quality control, regulatory reporting, and equipment and inventory maintenance. The role may serve as Laboratory Safety Officer and requires a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field, one year of related experience, and fingerprinting; candidates without a related degree must have four additional years of related experience. A Florida driver’s license may be required for county vehicle operation.
