The role performs chemical and physical laboratory analyses, including sample treatment, reagent and standard preparation, equipment calibration and maintenance, quality and safety controls, result validation, and database reporting. It requires secondary or higher technical education in chemistry or a related field, three years of service-laboratory experience, and two years in a minerals laboratory. The position also includes driving pickup trucks and assisting with laboratory training.
