Description
The Chemistry Methods Scientist will support MDS R&D business priorities at BD’s Columbus, Nebraska manufacturing site by developing and validating chemistry test methods, equipment, and process-transfer activities. The role involves laboratory testing, troubleshooting, documentation, SOP development, equipment maintenance, cross-functional collaboration, and participation in EHS and safety programs. Candidates need a chemistry, engineering, or life-science degree and 2–5+ years of relevant experience, with analytical chemistry, HPLC, method validation, and laboratory operations expertise required; hands-on instrumentation and regulatory-method experience are preferred.
