Description
The Chief Advancement Officer will serve as a senior philanthropy executive and strategic advisor to the CEO, leading a comprehensive advancement strategy for a human services nonprofit in Staten Island, New York. The role oversees major gifts, annual and planned giving, foundation and corporate partnerships, donor stewardship, capital campaigns, fundraising events, community engagement, and the Advancement Department, while cultivating high-capacity donors and strategic partners. The CAO will also partner with the CEO and Board of Directors, lead advancement operations and analytics, and represent the organization in the greater New York philanthropic community. The position requires a bachelor's degree, at least 10 years of nonprofit fundraising or advancement leadership experience, demonstrated success with five-, six-, and seven-figure gifts, and U.S. citizenship; a master's degree and relevant nonprofit experience are preferred. Compensation is $120,000-$125,000 annually plus a performance-based incentive plan.
