Description
Southern Methodist University is hiring three inaugural Chief Development Officers for its Dedman College of Humanities and Sciences, Cox School of Business, and Dedman School of Law. Reporting to the Vice President for Schools and Unit Development and serving as strategic advisors to their respective deans, the CDOs will set fundraising strategy, manage major and principal gifts, lead development teams, coordinate campaigns and strategic initiatives, engage volunteers and advisory boards, and manage budgets and performance reporting. The role requires at least ten years of professional fundraising experience, five years of management experience, a bachelor’s degree, and the ability to cultivate six- and seven-figure gifts; a master’s degree is preferred.
