Description
AWS is hiring a Chief Engineer to serve as the primary escalation point for facilities-related issues and oversee the operation and maintenance of critical data-center systems, including electrical and mechanical equipment, power distribution, cooling, building automation, and life-safety systems. The role performs root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, training, project management, safety oversight, performance benchmarking, and reporting, while working outside normal business hours as needed. Candidates need at least three years of Microsoft Office experience and three years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience, or three years of electrical facilities maintenance experience plus two years of mechanical facilities maintenance experience. The position is based in Marysville, Ohio, with a base salary of $96,000 to $166,300 annually.
