Description

Eaton Aerospace is hiring a Chief Engineer in Wimborne, United Kingdom, to provide technical leadership across Air-to-Air Refuelling and actuation systems. Reporting to the Engineering Senior Manager, the role owns technology roadmaps, engineering designs, programme governance, customer and supplier interfaces, RCCA investigations, systems engineering, and engineering capability development. The position requires an engineering bachelor’s degree, 10 years of aerospace or high-tech experience, and 5 years in mechanical or electrical actuation components or systems; ITAR access is required.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
Required Previous Experiences: 10 years of experience in aerospace or a high-tech industry with new product development and sustaining support
5 years of experience in mechanical or electrical actuation components and/or systems
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Engineering degree from an accredited institution
10 years of aerospace experience with new product development and sustaining support, specifically in Air-to-Air Refueling or weapons carriage and release actuation systems
Key role in an aerospace-related professional organization
DFSS Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification
DFSS Greenbelt with a development plan for Blackbelt certification
