Description
EdgeConneX is hiring a Chief Engineer to serve as the senior technical leader for a local data centre site, responsible for the operational integrity, safety, and performance of mechanical and electrical systems. The role leads planned and corrective maintenance, contractor and vendor oversight, emergency response, on-call support, customer-requested work, documentation, and energy-efficiency initiatives. It requires at least five years of data centre or critical facilities engineering experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical expertise, formal electrical engineering training, relevant safety certifications, and significant travel during the first six months.
