Description
The Chief Engineer leads building operations and maintenance for a community property, supervising maintenance staff and outside vendors, developing preventative maintenance programs, monitoring building systems, responding to repairs and emergencies, and maintaining maintenance records. The role requires strong leadership, customer service, technical and problem-solving skills, familiarity with basic trades and Microsoft applications, and availability for occasional night and weekend emergencies. It is a full-time, exempt, salaried position with occasional outdoor, mechanical, and hazardous-condition exposure.
