Description
The role manages engineering and maintenance operations for a property, including the physical plant, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, water treatment, life safety, equipment, and preventative maintenance. Responsibilities include budget and capital expenditure management, regulatory compliance, emergency response, equipment procurement, facility inspections, customer service, employee supervision, and safety and asset protection. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED with four years of relevant experience, or a two-year degree with two years of experience, plus technical training in HVAC-R, electrical, or plumbing.
