Description

MS Technology, Inc. is hiring an experienced Chief Engineer to provide technical leadership and engineering oversight for complex nuclear, industrial, and Department of Energy projects in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The role leads multidisciplinary engineering teams, approves engineering deliverables, ensures regulatory and quality compliance, supports project execution and business development, and mentors engineering personnel. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in engineering, at least 10 years of progressive engineering and leadership experience, a Professional Engineer license, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
Required Previous Experiences: 10+ years of progressive engineering experience supporting complex industrial, energy, manufacturing, government, or nuclear projects
10+ years of engineering leadership, technical management, or project leadership experience
Extensive experience overseeing multidisciplinary engineering and design activities
Experience reviewing and approving engineering analyses, calculations, specifications, and design documentation
Experience working within highly regulated environments including DOE, NNSA, commercial nuclear, defense, or similar industries
Ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with engineering codes and standards applicable to facility and system design
Understanding of project risk management, engineering change control, and design integration
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience supporting DOE Order compliance, nuclear quality assurance programs, and safety basis requirements
Existing DOE Q Clearance, L Clearance, or equivalent security clearance
Experience serving as Chief Engineer, Engineering Manager, Technical Director, Discipline Lead, or similar senior engineering leadership role
Experience supporting major capital projects, facility modernization efforts, and mission-critical infrastructure programs
