Nexstar Media Group’s FOX40 in Sacramento is hiring a Chief Engineer to lead the Engineering Department for KTXL Television, oversee broadcast technology and equipment, coordinate security operations, manage staff and budgets, develop capital projects, and ensure compliance with FCC and other regulations. The role requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, at least five years of digital electronics experience in television broadcasting, including three years in leadership, along with broadcast systems, fiber, A/V, audio, graphics, editing, transmitter, and microwave experience. The position is onsite, physically demanding, and pays a starting salary of $130,000 based on experience.
