Description
Red 6 is hiring a Chief Engineer to define and lead the system architecture for an airborne augmented reality training system. The role owns hardware and software integration, system trades, requirements analysis, technical roadmaps, and cross-functional leadership across hardware, software, optics, systems, and flight test, while working directly with government customers. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree, 15+ years of experience in system engineering, hardware design, and technical leadership in defense, aerospace, simulation, AR, or VR, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. The estimated base salary is $200,000 to $250,000, with healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
