Description
Red 6 is hiring a Chief Engineer to define and lead the system architecture for an airborne augmented reality training system. The role owns hardware and software integration, system trades, requirements analysis, technical roadmaps, and cross-functional leadership across hardware, software, optics, systems, and flight test. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree, 15+ years of experience in system engineering, hardware design, and technical leadership in defense, aerospace, simulation, AR, or VR, along with U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. The position offers a base salary of $200,000 to $250,000 and full-time benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, and paid leave.
